Introduction to Dianne Tracey:

I am Dianne Tracey. I am a Special Education Facilitator and Linking Agent in Frederick County, Maryland. I have been a Linking Agent for the last two years. I work in a Feeder pattern which is a middle school and three elementary schools that feed directly into that middle school.

Prior to being a Linking Agent I was a special education teacher. As part of my duties with that job, I was responsible for programming with assistance for children that had severe disabilities. I saw this [becoming a Linking Agent] as an opportunity to focus on that and provide information for special education teachers that they wanted to know but didn't always have the time to find.
