Get set to wrestle with problems in an elementary school. How’s that for skills building in a reality-based scenario? Hone your change management skills and learn about where you need to improve. Experiment with decision points to bring about positive change in our Jefferson County, Nebraska Eagle Elementary School scenario. You’ll be presented with four options for effectively responding to a number of critical challenges in solving the school’s student discipline problem. There are four choices. The first three choices are spelled out. Read them and pick one that is most like your thinking on the matter. If, however, you don’t totally agree with any of the first three, you may always select Choice D—basically, your ‘none of the above’ response. Be sure to save your ideas in your own notes for later. There is not necessarily a "correct" choice. After you make your selection in each of the exercises, click on the answer to obtain feedback on the choice you made as well as others.
