Summary
A key lesson in Module Eight is that there are a variety of models we can turn to for implementing the programs that we select. We discussed only four of the numerous models that can be utilized to make the implementation process easier and more successful. Many other models have been developed and can be found in the research literature on implementation. Further, adaptation of any model is likely to be necessary in order to "fit" the unique need of your school district. Ultimately, your experience, and the needs of your school or district, will determine which model works best for you. There are four recommended models we can utilize to make the implementation process easier and more successful. They include:
- the Reference Model
- the Liaison Model
- the Train-the-Trainers Model
- and the Consultant Model
