Her current responsibilities include serving as a technical assistance liaison for the Elementary and Middle Schools Technical Assistance Center (EMSTAC) and a task leader for the National Center for Technology Innovation (NCTI). As a technical assistance liaison, she is responsible for developing training modules and follow-up materials for consumers, conducting recruitment visits to local school districts, developing products for educators, designing and evaluating an on-line training web site, and researching information for Linking Agents. In addition to working on the EMSTAC project, Tina is responsible for supporting a variety of research projects for the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP).

Prior to joining AIR, she spent three years with Fairfax County Public Schools as a special education teacher. During each of her three years, she gained a wide variety of experiences in assessment, individualized instruction, behavioral analysis, and inclusive practices. In her last year with Fairfax County, she served as a school-based resource teacher responsible for coordinating special education service delivery and facilitating inclusive opportunities for students with disabilities. She served as the Chairperson for her school's Local Screening Committee and was responsible for administering educational evaluations to students in her school. In this position, she also gained experience developing a master schedule, conducting needs assessments, and planning staff development opportunities.

Tina obtained her Master's degree in special education from Old Dominion University in December 1999. She is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children and recently presented at their 2002 Convention.
